Cantabria, Spain between the 7th and 11th of May 2006.

Black Kite Milvus migrans	Several seen from the coastal autopista between Torrelavega and Unquera

Common Buzzard Buteo buteo	Seen most days
Eurasian Griffon Vulture Gyps fulvus	Three pairs in the mountains above Fuente dé, and in the La Hermida Gorge at Urdón and Lebaña (30+)
Golden Eagle Aquila chrysaetos	Above Urdón and La Hermida, on the ridge to the east of the gorge
Booted Eagle Aquila pennatus	One dark phase bird in the mountains above Fuente dé
Common Kestrel Falco tinnunculus	Seen from the coastal autopista between Torrelavega and Unquera
Herring Gull Larus argentatus	A few seen at sea and at the ferry ports
Common Cuckoo Cuculus canorus	One heard near Las Portillas de Aliva on the mountain track between Hotel Refugio de Avila and Invernales de Igüedri

Alpine Accentor Prunella collaris	Numerous in the mountains above Fuente dé and on the mountain track between Chalet Real and Hotel Refugio de Avila
