The Tudgay Family
Mary Tudgay was my great great great great grandmother. She married William Marshall in Kingston Deverill in 1797. She was the daughter of John Tudgay and his wife Mary Tudgay (née Mifflin) who married at Kingston Deverill in 1772. Mary was baptised in 1777, one of 7 children baptised in Kingston Deverill.

William senior was buried at Kingston Deverill in 1830 aged 82. Mary had died at the age of 55 and had been buried in 1808.
William Tudgay was the son of John and Priscilla Tudgay and was baptised at Kingston Deverill in 1751. John and Priscilla's marriage has not been found and Priscilla's maiden name is not known. They baptised John, Jane, Priscilla, James, William, Thomas, Joseph, Moses and Moses.
Priscilla was buried as a pauper at Kingston Deverill in 1794. She was 80.
A John Tudgay Yeoman left a Will in 1765. He was buried in the parish in 1765.
A John Tudgay and Jane had also baptised a son John in 1718.
